It can be shaped and sculpted into almost any shape imaginable and, when exposed to the heat of a kiln, be transformed into objects of permanent beauty. This wonderful material allows artists the freedom to create both functional and decorative pieces and constantly push the boundaries of what is possible.
This guide has been produced with the hope of removing the fear of the unknown and to allow anyone to begin their journey into ceramics whilst making the technical aspects as easy to understand as possible.
