Hi, will the addition of this flux to stain powder mean that I can create a self glazing underglaze? And how much water do I add if any?

No this will only make a stain into an underglaze, it will not be self glazing. Underglazes are usually brushed on therefore I would recommend mixing your underglaze powder with RM1074 Underglaze medium approximately 2 parts medium to 1 part underglaze powder, hope this helps.

Yes I would advise using a sieve the help make the mixture all the same consistency, yes you can alter the amount to suit your needs, I would however recommend testing first to see if you are happy with the results. Hope this helps.

One part flux to 3 parts stain so 25grams of flux and 75grams of stain will work well you can add slightly more or less if you wish.

To use underglaze flux add between 25-33% to make a powdered stain into an underglaze powder. Then mix 1 part underglaze medium to 1 part underglaze powder to create a brushable underglaze colour.

If I make up the underglaze per your instructions can it be applied to both leather hard clay and biscuit ware. Also does it still need to be dipped in a clear glossy or matt glaze before final firing.

Yes the underglaze may be applied to greenware or bisqueware. You do not have to glaze however a transparent glaze will create a more intense colour while also providing a more functional, practical ceramic surface.
