SCARVA says "Firing Temp 1186°C with 5 minute hold" I did 1200C with no hold and it turned out nice and even, a tiny shade more into red than what is shown here, but a fabulous colour non the less. But it really needs the 3 coats, I tried a piece with only two and it looks a bit washed out.

First trial was disappointing as the colour faded to a greyed purple.
Fired to 1240, will trial again maybe at lower temperature.
