Honey Flux is a creamy color that increases flow when layered over glazes. Opaque honey and cream at Cone 5 that shifts to a beautiful fluid white with honey flecks at Cone 6.
Due to the powdered nature of the materials involved with the dry-mix dipping buckets of this product, their respective health information and labels differ from the brushing glazes.
Safety Warning
Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.

Beautiful either on its own or layered with other glazes. On its own it is a lovely creamy white, and is quite stable. However it is very runny when combined with other glazes - usually to wonderful effect but keep it near the top of your piece!

Can this glaze be brushed on?
Also how will it react to other potters choice glazes if they are layered or overlap for example?
Scarva Replies:
Hi! Yes, this is a brush on glaze - you can use Amaco's layering resource by copying and pasting the following link - https://www.amaco.com/glazes-and-underglazes/layering
Hope this helps!

Can this be used on pieces made with parian porcelain casting slip fired to 1220°c?
Scarva Replies:
Hi, I suspect this glaze will run on Parian. In our kilns, to achieve cone 6 we don't fire higher than 1180°C on the controller. 1220°C on a controller is closer to cone 8. As Parian self fuses, my guess is that this will exacerbate the running issue.
