This unique metallic glaze has a mirrorlike finish when fired and adds beautiful, shimmering accents to any work. Because it is not food safe, this glaze is perfect for sculptural work that calls for reflective, glassy surfaces.
Due to the powdered nature of the materials involved with the dry-mix dipping buckets of this product, their respective health information and labels differ from the brushing glazes.
Safety Warning
Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.

I am delighted with the results of my first firing with this glaze. I used it on top of a Birds Egg Green Matt glaze i.e. Dribbled it down the sides and it was really successful. I had my Kiln full of glazed pots with a maximum Recommended temperature of 1080C. This is much lower than the recomnended temperature for this glaze but nevertheless the result was very attractive. I will use it again with different combinations. Highly recommended.
Good. Must pay attention in the brushing on because the mirror effect is obtained by a very high thickness of glaze and kiln 1240° C only because at 1000° C the effect is not obtainable. The difficult on Amaco Metallic glazes, is, in my opinion, the wide variety in kiln temperatures, so you must trial a lots and decide for one only.
Can this glaze be brushed on?
Also how will it react to other potters choice glazes if they are layered or overlap for example?
Scarva Replies:
Hi! Yes, this is a brush on glaze - you can use Amaco's layering resource by copying and pasting the following link - https://www.amaco.com/glazes-and-underglazes/layering
Hope this helps!

I couldn’t find the firing temp? Can this go up to 1200 degrees C?
Scarva Replies:
The glazes fire to cone 6 but as the palladium is very fluid it should work well at 1200oC.
