Textured Amber is a semi-matte brown glaze that has a varied, translucent surface with a textured float of opaque tan speckles. Try layering this glaze with our other Potters Choice glazes!
Due to the powdered nature of the materials involved with the dry-mix dipping buckets of this product, their respective health information and labels differ from the brushing glazes.
Safety Warning
Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.

I have only made a test tile, on stoneware, fired at 1240. This was an excellent glaze for a hand builder in that it did not obliterate the raised details. It pooled around the contours, giving an rich brown outline, with a lighter tone on raised surfaces. Where it pooled, it had, (as described in the product info) areas of a rich metallic bright treacle brown.
Can this glaze be brushed on?
Also how will it react to other potters choice glazes if they are layered or overlap for example?

Hi! Yes, this is a brush on glaze - you can use Amaco's layering resource by copying and pasting the following link - https://www.amaco.com/glazes-and-underglazes/layering
Hope this helps!
