I handbuild bas relief plaques and this glaze gave even coverage with no brush marks or bubbles over both underglaze and oxide painted stoneware.

This, in my hands, will pretty much swallow up to 2/3 of underglazes or oxides beneath it; which is exactly what I like about it. I made some gargoyles with white stoneware clay, used iron oxide quite heavily on them, and then glazed with this. Made them look like weathered stone - perfect!
Over underglazes on grey clay, it softened the colours to look almost dreamy.
