Hi, I'm a bit worried about the glaze running. Is there a risk that the pot will stick to the kiln if the glaze runs too much?

It will however if you fire on the controller to 1040oC with a 30 minute soak it should be okay.

Hi, yes - this is a brush on glaze, all Botz glazes are brush-on.
Hope this helps!

Can any of your earthenware glazes (Botz or Terracolor) be applied to a stoneware body? Thanks
Scarva Replies:
|
Yes earthenware glazes may be applied to a stoneware or an earthenware clay body it is important however to consider that a good glaze fit may not be achieved (fine cracks in the glaze) but this is common with any earthenware glaze and is only worth worrying about if the work you plan to make is functional.

Hi,
Is it possible to buy this in larger quantities or any of the other glazes?
Thanks

The Botz Earthenware range only comes in 230ml jars at present, we are able to offer larger quantities with our own Nano range of glazes.
