This glaze tends to craze heavily so no it would not be suitable for tableware.

can you tell me if i can brush this glaze on and also when fired does it become shiny? if so am i able to apply duncan glossy clear glaze over the top of it? kind regards AX

This glaze will be glossy by itself there is no need to apply a clear glaze on top. Hope this helps.

You can use this glaze on school buff however it is a crackle glaze so will not be suitable for functional tableware. Hope this helps.

Is this ok for mugs if fired higher in a gas kiln?

Hi there, the recommended firing range is 1020-1060, any higher and the glaze would run off your mugs.
