This is not a subtle turquoise like the photo; it’s actually a bright, vibrant turquoise, kind of like a swimming pool colour. Really nice though. After brushing on 3 good coats on 5 bowls, all had unattractive brown patches where the glaze was too thin but this was sorted by another layer and refiring. Overall a beautiful glaze but next time I might try pouring rather than brushing.
I love the satin finish on these granite glazes and this turquoise is gorgeous - and doesn’t run?
