Chrysanthos “Volcano Glazes” are a midfire product that create a surface texture reminiscent of dry lava.

Volcano Glazes need to be applied thickly using 3 -4 coats to create the lava appearance. The glaze is quiet stiff so the application can be to the bottom of the pieces and glazes can successfully be applied abutting each other. Glaze will retain their integrity where they meet.
