I now own two of these, they're every effective at smoothing the little burrs and small debris that sometimes get stuck to the bottom of pots during a glaze firing. Great for ensuring that bottoms are smooth and don't scratch furniture. Also, great at planing out small glaze drips. Last forever, great purchase.
