I used this to stain some porcelain body and fired it to 1260°C. It completely burnt out and came out a light grey colour. (All the other stained samples turned out as expected so it wasn't an issue with the firing.)

I added this stain to a 1280 glaze, even 9% gave weak colour - pale grey

I ordered this stain to add to a clay body and fire to 1260. Usually Mason stains are great for this, but this colour completely burnt out!

I used this stain in a vitreous slip and fired it to 1220. I was expecting the luscious dark purple stain I saw on my screen and instead I got a dirty pale grey. These stains are very expensive and far too often they simply don't work. Very disappointed and fed up.
