Every bit as good as the blue synthetic Mud Tools sponge - flexible when wet, strong, great shape. Lovely for getting a smooth, final finish.

This item really complements the blue Mudtools sponge, both very good quality and don't leave bits of themselves in the clay or water. This sponge can be used on rims too, which is a big help, as I am forever losing my strip of chamois leather.

I had lost mine and I was really missing it. I think that's the best review one can give! I think I'll have to order another one very soon. Initially when it arrived I thought it seemed rather expensive for what it is, however its performance, that leaves minimal sponging marks on the clay, changed my mind. Definitely worth the outlay.

Surprised to find it as flat as a pancake on arrival it does swell up however in water and remains full size after that. Very absorbent and so far hasn't broken apart.

Like other reviewers the price seems a little high initially for what you receive but after using it I wouldn't go back to natural sponges, and that says it all really. Very good.

Doesn't seem to leave fragments of sponge in your clay which is great, I find it a slight clumsy shape if I am doing small cylinders etc but otherwise great.
