Robust, semi-industrial front loading kilns ideal for professional studios, colleges and industrial applications where a larger capacity is required. Spiral wound elements are supported on tubes so heat from all around the element is exposed to the kiln chamber giving highly efficient use of energy. There are elements in the two side walls and floor as standard.
Constructed from low thermal mass insulation brick with two high grade backup insulation boards, the roof is a traditional curved arch construction again with two layers of backup insulation, enclosed within a 2mm zintec steel powder coated frame. Graded Kanthal A1 Heating Elements are supported on ceramic tubes, positioned in the floor and two side walls. Dual contactors provide security against over-fires, when used in conjunction with Potterycrafts Kiln controllers. Block construction flat arched roof for greater strength and durability . Designed for repeated high temperature firings to 1320°C (cone 11). Three year warranty (excluding wear parts) back-up from our staff and a network of independent service engineers. Technical staff available for advice on all aspects of using your kiln. Made in Britain at our factory in Stoke-on-Trent where our skilled staff, call on over a hundred years accumulated knowledge of kiln building.

CERAcontrol is the latest development in a long series of controllers, they incorporate new software giving improved efficiency and ease of programming together with up to date safety and diagnostic features.
CERA-5+ has 5 programs each with delay start, 5 heating/cooling ramps, soak, cut off and program pause.
This controller gives the benefit multiple heating and cooling ramps for pottery firing where usually two programs are used, having five ramps allows for several heating and/or cooling phases in the program.
CERA-10 has 10 programs each with 10 segments. Delay start and program pause. Each segment has a heating/cooling ramp, a target temperature and a soak. This controller is ideal for firings where a range of programs are frequently used.
It can be used for any firing requiring close control over multiple heating and cooling ramps such as macro crystalglazes and for glass slumping and fusing.
