Pottery Crafts Test Kiln P5900 9Ltr
The P5900 is a small bench mounted kiln designed for test firing clays and glazes without having to fire a large kiln. 
These kilns are constructed of a low thermal mass insulation brick with a high grade backup insulation board this is all enclosed within a high quality pressed steel powder coated frame. 
Kanthal A1 spiral wound elements are used to heat the kiln, the elements arelocated in grooves within the side walls of the kiln to allow uniform heat distribution throughout the chamber 
All Genesis kilns are CE marked and have captive key interlocks fitted to break full load upon opening the kiln tocomplywith both UK and European legislation, in addition to this all Potterycrafts Genesis kilns are now fitted with two contactors as standard to give greater protection against possible over-fires, when used in conjunction with our rangeof microprocessor controllers. 
Brick to brick door seal, no messy fibre.

 


Type "R" thermocouples fitted as standard on UK kilns.
  • Adjustable clasp door lock fitted.
  • All kilns are fitted with a Harting socket for easy controller connection.
  • Roof bung hole and plug as standard to assist with venting of the kiln and cooling.
  • Self assembly kiln stand option available with built in shelf.
