I am looking for something to make decals to use on ceramics that go into the kiln and are glazed. Is this the product I am looking for? If so how is it used please, thanks,
Lisa

Simply print onto this using ceramics media like onglaze or underglaze etc, then apply a covercoat this will create a waterslide transfer, there are lots of different processes you can use I would recommend getting a book called Ceramics and Print by Paul Scott, its a great little book and will explain the processes far better than I ever could, hope this helps.

Hi, I'm a bit confused by one of your answers in the Q&A.
Is this sheet only the base decal paper and you have to buy the covercoat separate, or does this come complete with a sheet of covercoat that you lamination onto the printed image?
Sorry, it's not very clear what you’re buying and if you have to buy any extra material.

That is correct this is only the paper, you would print onto it then apply covercoat on top.

Hello. Can I print onto the paper e.g. text using my home printer? If so can I print using Hewlett Packard ink? One I have created the decal do I then just cover it with on glaze clear? Thank you I appreciate your help
Scarva Replies:

Hi,
These are final application decals for glazed ware. Simply glaze fire your piece then apply the decal, you can cover with a covercoat if you wish but if you refire them the decal will burn off.
Hope this helps!

How do we use theses, can I put it into my inject printer and then print out my image then do I put it onto bisque fired pieces and then apply a top coat then do I do a glaze firing and then is it done?
Scarva Replies:

Hi,
These are final application decals. Printer ink contains no ceramic material, they are to be applied after glaze firing. If you apply before glaze firing it will simply burn off in the kiln.
Hope this helps
