This is my 'go-to' clay. I am a handbuilder, and use oxides and glaze with the crank; it toasts and responds really well.

Out-standing for all hand-building. Can be fired (slowly) surprisingly thick. Used on 150cm h x 185cm w sculpture, built as one, fired in 6 sections; exceptionally even shrinkage, no warping, so the joins were nice and tidy. Amazing green/ dry strength so loading heavy, awkward sections worked out. So easy to use that the sculpture took half the time expected to build. Very nice to handle. Lovely fired colour. Took surface carvings beautifully. All joins reliable. Not one crack. So, yes! I AM pleased!

I liked the feel of this clay and use it for making slab pots, it has an ability to remain workable and flexible over a good range of dryness. Resistent to cracks, and joins well.

I find this clay very amenable to the work I do...making ceramic animals.
