What is the highest temp I can biscuit fire this to?

We recommend bisque firing to 1000°C for all clay bodies this is the ideal temperature as the body is porous enough to glaze easily, you can bisque fire as high as you like however be aware the higher you fire the less porous the body will become even at 1100°C you will notice the body is less porous and more difficult to glaze.

Hello, Can you please tell me if ES60 smooth crank is ok for a prolonged wood firing, possibly at 1300. Thanks.
Scarva Replies:

Hi there, 1240 would probably be the limit for a prolonged firing. Hope this helps.
