Scarva Earthstone Extra Smooth (Casting Slip) From  £29.44

I love this slip, but it arrives THICK. I always need to add extra deffloculant and water to make it workable.

I wish Scarva wouldn't supply it in a plastic bottle though - especially when some other suppliers supply it in a bucket. It's impossible to get out, and actually really off-putting.

It casts well but the texture is more granular than E/W casting slip. I was hoping to high bisque and then apply low firing e/w glazes but after after reading other reviews on this, I bisqued to 1000 as normal.
It's got a more creamy colour to it. Lighter than E/W casting slip after bisque.

Makes nice smooth pots but think the container could have been a better shape for pouring and returning slip into it

Supplied thicker than toothpaste. Could not pour, difficult to squeeze out of narrow neck container.
