Scarva FLAX Paper Clay ES200 Smooth From  £15.19

I was looking for a clay body which will be light and hold the form of a life size work. This one works perfect, drys very fast so you must be careful but once you are aware of this it is very easy to use and fires well, no cracks and nice texture.

Very very happy with this product...made some pieces to frame and had no issues with warping cracking or shrinkage

I have just taken out of the kiln a bisque fired sculpture of a red kite. On the first firing this piece had air bubbles, and as a result the base claws and tail was badly damaged. However I spent a lot of time joining the six pieces with wet clay, then re under glazed and bisque fired again. Sculpture fired slowly. The result was amazing the bird is in one piece, even the large base and small re sculpted claws. I can't talk highly enough about this fabulous clay. I will now use it for all my sculptural pieces.
