If I fire to 1200 - 1227 which version of the glaze should I buy?

I would recommend the 1260oC version.

I have tried red glazes before (not Scarva) and they have not been very successful. They were much more brown and patchy when fired. Can I be sure this one will really be red please?

Yes this glaze will fire red, all the examples of our Scarva glazes have been produced in our labatory and photography studio on site so the results are as accurate as possible.
