Initial batch I mixed 4kg with 4L of water and then added another 400mls to get that creamy, milky consistency - obviously you have to test consistency i.e. finger dip test is how I personally do it. Results have been consistently good, no flops thus far. Used on Scarva's casting porcelain slip fired at 1240 with 15min soak at the end. Thumbs up.

For brush-on I'll use 2-3 coats. For dipping, dip once. Used on casting slip porcelain dipped - excellent results.

Glaze arrived promptly, even though Delivery delays are expected during the Covin crisis. This glaze mixes well and easily, even when left for a week or more. I use lots of colour & decals on my pieces, this glaze brings out the details with clarity and has a good quality finish, fits really well onto the porcelain clay body.

I bought this as a novice and it has been easy to mix, sieve and use. Providing a good coverage and a lovely glossy finish once fired with no drips on the kiln shelf.

I buy this in 2.5kg bags. I add an extra 400ml of water to every 2.5kg (2.9litres of water to 2.5kg of powder). I fire to 1250 and this has to be the best transparent clear glaze I have ever used. I use on Audrey Blackman Porcelain with underglazes. Ive used it over slips on standard stoneware with the same finish. Just add the extra water. Leave the ware to stand over night. Rub back any high points and your good to go.

I use this on both stoneware and porcelain and fire to cone 6 & 8. It is fabulous. Lovely and glossy and fits well. I have the brush on and I find it only needs two coats and not the three to four that’s recommended. Goes on really nicely too.

This is the nicest transparent glaze for stoneware I have used, it goes on easily with dipping, just add a little more water than per instructions for a perfect finish.

I sought advice from Scarva for a craze-resistant glaze for use on their ES80 body after disappointing results with other manufacturer's glazes and this proved to be the answer. It performs well giving a really good colour response over decorative slip at 1260 and most importantly shows no sign of crazing on pots made 2 years ago and which are in daily use. I mix it to a thin consistency to avoid any chance of milkiness and am careful to rub down any thick runs.

I'm in my 50th year of pottery and I can honestly say I've never come across a commercially made clear glaze as amenable as this one. I've had absolutely no issues from it for the year I've been using it. Crystal clear and consistently glossy, it looks like my pottery has put on a glass coat. I also add extra water, to a milky consistency over my fingers and usually fire to 1235°c for perfection every time.

Really lovely glaze. Consistent results, easy to use : can pick up the dry glazed pot leaving no finger marks etc. No change to the finish if overlapped- melts in smoothly.

This is probably the best transparent stoneware glaze I have ever come across in my 20 years of potting. However, this time the parcel wasn't very well packed, so this bag plus a bag of white glaze both split and leaked inside the box. Never had this problem from Scarva before, though!

Great glaze, but mine came out milky following the instructions on the package. Works best if you add 1litre per1kg of product and applied thin by dipping once. Works well at cone 6.

I was sent a small sample. I usually buy Amazon transparent, but this glaze is so good. Two coats advised and it is so glossy at 1220c. I certainly will buy this, it's cost effective!

GZ2150 worked perfectly with my high fired porcelain, also gave my rough reclaimed stoneware a quality glossy finish.

Best mind ranged transparent glaze I have ever used. Very bright, no crazing and no running. Mixes well with oxides and and good with slips and underglaze. Highly recommended

This glaze is absolutely fantastic! I usually fire to 1240 and higher - the results are lovely, clear, and shiny and it never misbehaves itself. The finish just feels really premium. I would say as a warning to anyone buying it to use over coloured underglazes - it doesn’t play nicely with some, so something to be aware of!
