SCARVA Crackle zircon white glaze is available in powder or brush on form. GZ2313 has a large open crackle effect. This glaze only works on Stoneware clay bodies. This glaze is ideal for creating an aged/antique effect. Simply apply glaze, fire, then rub Indian ink onto glazed surface to intensify the crackle effect. For best results leave glazed vessel after firing for at least 48 hours to allow crackle effect to develop. Firing range: 1200-1280°C (Cone 5-9) Glaze finish: Glossy Crackle glazes are not suitable for food use.
