Scarva Mini Slab Roller From  £329.00

I bought this because my back is getting old. This roller is light easy to operate and transportable, breaks down into 4 parts for easy storage when not in use or to pop in the car. It comes with 2 boards but the possibilities don't end there. I have used plaster board bats and newspaper to get the required thickness and texture. You are restricted by width, however this great little roller will take any length of boards you want to cut. Absolutely great!

This slab roller is great, does what it says, just as wide as other much more expensive rollers. It is portable, and brilliant value for money. Slab work is so easy now!!

I've owned this slab roller now for over a year and it's just brilliant. I don't have the luxury of a studio and work out of my garage so I need to be wise with the space I have. This slab roller takes seconds to assemble and use, it produces the perfectly rolled clay. I use the boards provided and I've used lots of other boards to vary the thickness of my clay and it's provided great results each time. I love it!

It's actually the Missus that this was for so I don't have first hand experience of it.
She absolutely loves it though. Makes producing a sheet of clay a hell of a lot quicker and easier apparently.
As for Scarva, they were great. Got it to me in just 2 days and were quick to answer emails.

As a complete ceramic novice, I have found this roller absolutely amazing with helping to get regular thickness in the clay. Using a rolling pin is fine, but it doesn't have the consistent results of the roller. As a 2D artist for many years, I am sculpting animals in 3D now and this has made life much easier. Many thanks!

Also could do with two canvases, one foe grey clay and a second for terracotta.

I have a small space in my garage and this is great as it can be packed away.
I found rolling larger medium-sized slabs frustrating, hence my purchase.
It's great once I realised you alter the thickness of the slab by using the different boards and canvas.
a simple set of instructions would have been handy.
Still, It's perfect size for my use. I find it wide enough for medium-sized projects. You could get longer or thinner pieces by using different boards.
I'd like 2 canvas's with it though as I use dark and light clay.

This little machine had answered all that I have asked if it. I'm very happy with out. I gave it four stars only because I would like the get to be a little more grippy...small point. Would recommend it happily.

This is a easy to use portable slabroller and it does the job great.

Well I wish I had bought a better one.

No instructions. Missing grub screw key for assembly.Poor quality boards- both broke on first use, so roller cant now be used Only does one thickness of slab- unless you can make/get other thickness boards, so slab usually has to be further rolled out later. Wish I'd stuck to rolling pin. Waste of money.
