Nano Colours are manufactured to a very fine particle size; this has many advantages. Nano Colours disperse more readily throughout a glaze or slip resulting in more uniform and defect free surfaces. During the firing process Nano Colours fuse more vigorously creating purity, intensity and brilliance. Nano Colours are stronger therefore less percentage is needed to create vivid colours making them extremely cost effective. Due to the fine particle size Nano Colours are ideal for screen-printing applications. • 62 Vivid Colours • Cost Effective • High Firing • Lead Free • All colours are intermixable • Maximum Firing Temperature 1280°C • Add approximately 8% to make opaque glaze Please be aware that if you intend to use stains to make underglazes you must add underglaze flux

Very bright
Used in gloss transparent stain. Good even colour, very bright but small amount with a touch of red gives a light cream. Mixes well with other stains. Some crazing but due to problems with the transparent stain and low firing of bisque I think. Made use of this to give a very good "raku" effect!

solid colour
Very impressed with colour achieved when added to Nano white decorating slip, brush on low fire and high fire glazes I use. Colour is more intense than other makes, so it goes further and easier to achieve more intense colours.

Can this be used at any temperature? Kneeded into clay body and added to clear glaze? What clear glaze is recommended for mid fire to high fire please.

Yes that is correct I would recommend using our Scarva GZ2150 Multi purpose Stoneware transparent for the best results. Hope this helps.
