Nano Colours are manufactured to a very fine particle size; this has many advantages. Nano Colours disperse more readily throughout a glaze or slip resulting in more uniform and defect free surfaces. During the firing process Nano Colours fuse more vigorously creating purity, intensity and brilliance. Nano Colours are stronger therefore less percentage is needed to create vivid colours making them extremely cost effective. Due to the fine particle size Nano Colours are ideal for screen-printing applications. • 62 Vivid Colours • Cost Effective • High Firing • Lead Free • All colours are intermixable • Maximum Firing Temperature 1280°C • Add approximately 8% to make opaque glaze Please be aware that if you intend to use stains to make underglazes you must add underglaze flux

A little goes a long way
Very economical colour. So intense you on need a little. Nice colour I mix with a little water and glaze medium and then brush on followed by a clear glaze over the top and fired at cone 4. Even with a single coat it's a very vibrant green.

Can Nano colour stains be dispersed in water for painting onto bisque before glazing ...?
Linda Sutherland from United Kingdom
Nano Colour Stains should be made into an underglaze first by adding underglaze flux (approx 25%). If you wish to brush the colour on you would be best mixing the underglaze with underglaze medium to prevent brush strokes appearing on the work. Mix 50/50 underglaze stain with underglaze medium.
