I have mixed this with a porcelain body, fired in gas and electric kiln. The purple is quite dark when mixed as 10% stain to body, even without a clear glaze. I would recommend anyone who buys this to make test tiles first, 7% is probably dark enough This stain goes a long way. Will definitely buy this again.

Rich intense colour. I use it in transparent earthenware glaze in the proportion of 50g of stain to 1kg of glaze. It breaks beautifully on my imprinted tiles.

3% as a stain in porcelain is plenty. (cone 6) Perhaps the best purple stain I have come across.
