I spent a lot of time agonising over the pre-mixed brush-on version of this glaze (as opposed to the powdered form). In the end, having tried both, I'm glad I went for the pre-mix!! Excellent consistency, brushes out with a minimum of effort and three coats fired to a beautifully crackled glaze.

Glaze dries to a firm coating, giving safe handling for loading the kiln. Excellent product - the consistency and saved labour (and mess) makes this well worth the extra money. Hard to imagine using anything else now!!

It crackles beautifully. I did 2 coats of it over a hand painted cobolt design that had been biscuit fired and unfortunately it caused the cobolt design to run. I tried it again with only 1 coat and the cobolt design was fine and it still crackled really well.
