I usually use a stoneware clay but wanted to try porcelain so I thought a grogged porcelain would be a good starting point. I was blown away by how lovely it is to work with! It is a thirsty clay so you can't mess around too long but it is a joy to centre, pull up and shape on the wheel. I have used dozens of different clays over the years but this is the best by far. I just hope it fires OK and does not crack or warp. I will certainly order it again as soon as I have fired it.

Excellent slab building clay. The addition of fine molochite in the porcelain clay helps the pots keep their shape whilst still having a smooth surface.

Although this clay shrinks a lot, it is good for hand made work and you can achieve a lovely translucent finish. Would recommend

This is the best porcelain I've come across for slab building. My slabs are rolled to a thickness of 3 mm and shaped into cylindrical pots and with a few exceptions they always retain their shape after firing.

Great clay and if it needs lots of water, have some washing-up liquid in the water. Insta: isakisaksson0522

I've been looking for porcelain which wouldn't warp on larger flat forms.
I haven't fire this clay body yet but i already can tell it warps so much less than smooth porcelain, which is exactly what I wanted.
So far, so good!

This is the first porcelain I’ve tried and I love it. It is fabulous for slab work. It dries quick so if you like to work quickly then its a joy. It is also good pressed into moulds. It is very thirsty though so I did find it tricky to throw, however an experienced thrower I think would be fine.
Did shrink a lot! Used with scarva leadless transparent stoneware glaze at cone 6 at it came out lovely.
