Beautiful throwing clay
I find it’s perfect for throwing. Fires to a beautiful warm white. But I wouldn’t recommend it for slab building flat shapes due to warping.

Hi, what porcelain clay would you recommend for jewellery making? also what is the difference between the p20 and p40 porcelain. Thanks
PAULA from United Kingdom
The best all around clay body for throwing, handbuilding or modelling is our ES120 Ming Porcelain so this would be ideal for your application. Hope this helps.

Hi, I am looking for porcelain which is good for making small, hand shaped figurines. What is important to me is that: -it fires to warm white (not cold or greyish) - it allows to attachd details like leafs or petals - does not loose its shape when fired I thought scarva paper porcelain would be good for it, but some of the pieces I made were deformed too much. Which porcelaine would you recommend? Thank you in advance for help!
Joan from Poland
I would recommend our ES120 Ming Porcelain it is excellent for modelling and has excellent fired strength.

Hi there, I am looking for a porcelains clay that becomes transparent after firing. Do you stick any! Thanks Stina
Stina from United Kingdom
Transparent after firing no, all of our porcelains will become more translucent once fired but this will very much depend on the thickness of the clay.
