DELIVERY on time
I usually buy my raw materials locally and collect in person. This time the local firm were not very forthcoming with service or materials even though their web shop had everything in stock and available. So even though prices were slightly more expensive and there was delivery cost as well I was very pleased all I wanted was in stock and delivered promptly.
I shall be using Scarva again...local firm the looser.
I run adult pottery classes and sometimes materials run out unexpectedly and it's reassuring to know that Scarva can deliver and supply the goods.

Yes this would be suitable.

Hello Is this suitable for making a white slip for earthenware. Thank you
Caroline from United Kingdom
Yes you could use this combined with other materials to create a slip alternatively a much easier option is to use ES130 White earthenware and turn into a slip.

I'm making a porcelain clay body. What's the difference, please, between HYPLAS RM 1007 and HYPLAS 71? Thanks
Barbara from United Kingdom
Hi, this is Hyplas 71
Scarva Team
I am planning on mixing up some glaze recipes and they just say ball clay in them. Which ball clay would you recommend I use?
dee from Ireland
You could use any of them as they will not affect the glaze much, it is only really important when mixing a clay recipe. The most popular is Hyplas 71 and is ideal for your purpose.
