I purchased this product to add to some original traditional mud/clay plaster that I have slavaged from a Georgian property that I am restoring. The plaster had deteriorated and come away from the walls and was in need of remixing and reapplying. The clay granules were perfect for adding the stickiness and body the original mix had lost. I now have a fine clay mud base above the main Palladian arch on the grand staircase. I will probably be ordering a fine porcelain for the final coat. All a bit experimental but seems to have worked out well.
Great service and prompt delivery of the item.

This powdered clay was mixed with sand and straw to make an insulating layer. It mixes easily and sticks to the previous layer really well. There is slight shrinkage when it dries, but this is not a problem.
It seems like a really good clay and a nice colour too.

I am just wondering can I use this powdered clay to build a clay oven? I will be mixing it with water and sand and I am just wondering will it dry ok with a combination of air drying... and lighting a fire inside the oven dome.... If not could you recommend me a powdered clay for use in making a clay pizza oven. Thanks, Christina

I'd like to know if this powdered clay can be used to make slip for dipping greenware. If used as slip on a stoneware body how high can it be fired? Thanks!
