Is this silicone suitable for making moulds for cold process soaps?
Am thinking in terms of what may be released from the cured mould & into the soap during the saponification process, being retained within the soap & possibly transferred from the soap to the body when the soap is used.
Scarva Replies:
|
Yes you can use this silicone rubber for casting soaps.

I also would like to know if this product is self adhering? for example if mixed to little to cover a sculpture could i then mix another batch and have both silicon parts stick together (like how plaster behaves)? Thank Kassie
Scarva Replies:

No it will not stick to itself, one pour is advisable.
