Made a lovely wee breakfast set with this clay which is incredibly smooth to throw on the wheel. Was a great orange colour when bisque fired, then put a nice black strip of underglaze along the top edge and a transparent glaze over the pieces. Fired to stoneware temp and clay turned a brown colour.
I use this clay a lot for slab-built tableware. It has a nice smooth texture and it's very versatile...as it can be fired higher ..with cone 5/6 glazes, but still hold it's nice red colour, although the colour deepens.
