Scarva Studio Reactive SR-07 Atlantis From  £13.53

I bought this glaze along with a couple of others to try them on buff clay. I dipped the samples ie mugs with Atlantis and it came out lovely as sample Scarva photo shows. Firing it at 1214c in my electric kiln. No runs on my pots, sits well on pots. Best one out out of the 3 for my choice. Added a few spots of Amaco combination glaze with lovely reaction too. definitely buying more of this glaze.

This glaze is one that I would use as my go to for pots with even a small amount of texture. It’s such a gorgeous few shades of speckled blue, but then breaks a rich ruddy to tan brown over the texture. Stunning glaze! 3 coats on KGM body fired at cone 6.

I fired Atlantis to 1250 and used it as a dipping glaze and it is lovely on my bowls, they are not as blue as the picture, but is very nice and it hasn’t run, which is always a relief 😊
