I have had a wooden salt cellar since the early 60s. The red rubber bung had gradually perished and eventually disintegrated. For sentimental reasons, I didn't want to throw out the saltcellar. I needed these stoppers for some crystal Salt & Pepper shakers. While I don't like the brown color, they fit perfectly. I wish they were available in white.

Finally managed to stopper the hole in my Denby cruets with these! Tried other more rigid stoppers but the hole wasn't perfectly round. These did the trick!

Bought to replace plastic salt and pepper shaker stoppers. They are a perfect fit. Great simple solution.

A bit small but with the help of a small rubber band it fits great. The difference in the size was so minute that there wasn't a size to fit.
