1/1
A high quality casting wax for use in lost wax casting. Melting point 63ºC - 66ºC. The wax casts easily, withstands handling when cold without cracking, and burns out cleanly. This wax is fairly firm and so is suitable for carving, modelling with wax modelling tools, pouring and painting into moulds, and casting in the Centricast Machine. To make a hand modelling wax we recommend mixing Green casting Wax with Type B Wax.

great!
Ordered this on a wednesday afternoon and got it on the friday morning, good quality wax being used to make a prototype wedge heel. I used the wax for sculpting not casting and I found that it is good for small details as small amounts of the wax soften with just the heat of your hands. Delivery charges were cheap in comparison to other websites I considered using as well as the actual wax being a few quid cheaper, all in all I am very happy with my purchase :)

Hi
Could you advise me on the correct temperature to heat wax to prior to pouring into a mould. I have read that you should heat the wax to around 160 degrees, but I have also read that at this temperature there’s a risk of air bubbles forming, which is the problem I found. My mould is about 2.5 litres in size. I can’t find any advice on your website. Could you advise. Thanks
David from United Kingdom
The melting point of this green wax is 63-66ºC, if the wax is exposed to high temperatures it will begin to boil.

What are the dimensions of the 0.5kg block?
and the dimensions of the 1kg, or is this two of the 0.5kg blocks?
Will from United Kingdom
This now comes in broken up blocks so is made up of broken chips so there are no dimensions sorry.

Hi! Is your "Green Casting Wax" suitable to be melted in a pan and poured into a silicone mold? And if so, what is the shrinkage of this wax?
Reuba from United Kingdom
Yes you can melt the green casting wax in a pan and pour into your mould. Sorry we do not know the shrinkage of this wax.
