 A 400W Direct Drive motor matched with a potter's wheel.This Direct Drive motor is powerful and vibration free as the wheel responds quickly and smoothly to the foot pedal or lever. Direct Drive Motor : Developed to be extremely efficient and energy saving this motor is exceptionally quiet, as well as vibration free, as there are no belts, gears or drive components. Extremely smooth operation Free Spinning Wheelhead turns freely in the ‘off’ position allowing it to be used as a banding wheel. Easily changed direction of rotation with the FWD / REV switch The wheel must be returned to neutral and stopped before changing direction. The 400W motor is responsive when throwing large pieces and does not slip when applying pressure even at low rpms.
