I really like this glaze. I have found it to be more of a solid glossy white when fired around 1120 and becomes more transparent at higher firings around 1200, this enables the clay to be seen through on the edges giving a more rustic effect. I haven't tried it as high as 1240 as suggested.

Great results when brushed on flax porcelain greenware and once fired at 1220 C.

I use this glaze a lot and it is always really good. A nice soft and glossy white that is easy to apply and fits the piece very well.
