Lovely colour
Needs a good mix but looks lovely, copper bits shine nicely but are probably a bit more random than picture suggests, lovely coverage though and I enjoy not quite knowing what the result is going to be till the kiln is opened!

Gorgeous
I love this glaze. It has come out as the picture. Lovely verdigris green with the bronze undertone. Did not think it would come out true to the picture but it has. Will buy again when this one is finished

I’ve bought three terra color glazes . Firing temperature1020-1080. Which clays can be used with these glaz es.?
Chris from United Kingdom
Really any white clay can be used, however to reduce crazing post firing I would recommend sticking to a white earthenware such as ES130 or ES130 Grogged for these glazes.
Hope this helps!

Are your earthenware glazes and underglazes food safe?
Ellie from United Kingdom
If a glaze is food safe or not depends on several factors including the type of clay used, the firing temperature, the shape of the vessel, the thickness of glaze even the position of the vessel in the kiln can have an effect on the glaze. Ideally a food safe test would be carried out by a reputable body like British Ceram. In the case of earthenware glazes and underglazes it would not be ideal as the clay will still be porous at such a low temperature and glazes will most likely craze and crackle, this means bacteria can get into the cracks.
The glazes most suitable for food safe ware are glossy stoneware glazes fired on smooth stoneware clay in an electric kiln.
