Terracolor 5252 Bird of Paradise From  £12.77

This glaze does exactly what it says, lucious colours .

Scarva's service is second to none. The Bird of Paradise glaze can give mixed results depending on temp. The results can be very dramatic and it is worth persevering with.

The glaze came out beautifully, not as shown as it runs and streaks with only a few bits of the peac**k eye effect. It is very thick so needs to be stirred a lot, two coats is probably enough. I put on three coats on a huge 3ft pot, I found it sucks right into the pot so hard to judge how much you have put on, but the result was stunning. Also.. make sure you have a drip tray under it and kiln furniture to lift your pots or you will find them stuck to the shelf! Wish I could put a picture here.

Found the glaze, when opened, to be rather thick and "Gloopy" and therefore was too thick on my texture dish.
Needed to thin quite a lot to get the finish I was looking for. Be careful over textures as only needs 2 coats to give a lovely effect.

Much darker than shown and has run so maybe had it too thick. Would suggest fireing a small item first. The 3 stars is on my results I would imagine others have fared better
