Hello,
Is the sample shown on red or white earthenware.
How does this glaze react on terracotta clay?

This sample is fired on a white body, on terracotta it should not change to much as it is a very stable opaque glaze if it where more glossy and translucent colours tend to just be darker on terracotta clay

Hi, cone 06 is probably too low a temperature for this glaze. I would recommend cone 04. Hope this helps!

My glaze looks very brown. It was fired at 1060

Most likely the glaze was applied to thinly but if you are able to email me some images I can confirm this for you.

Terracolor Brush-On Earthenware Glazes are available ready to use straight from the jar, simply stir well then apply three coats to your bisque pieces. Glaze will dry quickly allowing you to move them to the kiln for firing. For best results fire 1040°C with a 30 minute soak on a computerised controller.
