Very beautiful turquoise glaze with a very smooth satin finish.
Easy to use. I fired on terracotta bisque at 1040c
I found the speckles effect to be more animated than the sample shown but evenly spaced out and very much smoother finish than shown. This is a wonderful glaze.
Really nice brush on glaze. Gives a good matt finish at 1070degC but I have also fired at 1120degC too when I have wanted to mature the clay. This higher fire gives a slightly satin finish, a little lighter turquoise which is equally attractive.
Terracolor Brush-On Earthenware Glazes are available ready to use straight from the jar, simply stir well then apply three coats to your bisque pieces. Glaze will dry quickly allowing you to move them to the kiln for firing. For best results fire 1040°C with a 30 minute soak on a computerised controller.
