It took a lot of fiddling to get this right, but with the addition of Epsom salts and getting the SG to 1.48 and dipping for 6 seconds it is exquisite. Crackles, pools deep green and breaks brown on high spots.

I like the colour, not too bright, just right. But dipping pots in this glaze is a bit of a chore because it settles so very quickly. It needs a good stir between every 'dip'. Do you think it might be improved if some sort of suspension were added? Like Bentonite for example? If so, what would be the amount to add without spoiling the effect?

When I got this glaze I was excited to use a Celadon glaze, but very disappointed as it came out very muddy green/brown and extreme matte. I dipped a 5 second dip as was worried it would run but it didn’t. So maybe it needs a much thicker coat?

Bought the brush on version of this, after 3 coats it's brown/almost black and matt. When the coats are thicker the green comes through but with brown speckles. Also tried over "romantic" and this gives a matt greeny/brown which is more pleasant

Decent glaze, mixed 1kg with 800ml to give a slightly thicker consistency. Double dipping the glaze will give a thick green crackle as shown in the image above

I glazed several pieces in this product and very dissappointed that it came out as a very dull tan colour, perhaps the kiln may have fired too high so will give it a go on less time consuming pieces. All other glazes I bought from Scarva were gorgeous.

Really stunning, but does tend to run....the best looking celadon glaze I've used and my students love it.

Test tile worked well so used it on a large jug where it broke in an interesting way.
