Terracolor 628E Marcasite From  £17.56

I mixed this with the medium to make it a paint on glaze and love it. Its dark and consistent.

Loved this glaze,first time used a dipping glaze and need to be a little more careful about drips as quite runny.

Every time I shop with scarva I get positively surprised. Always great quality and the products are so well described. This glaze ranges from a grey blue to greens and turquoise and in thinner areas a brown/ beige finish. Absolutely stunning! The team are always incredibly helpful and delivery has been nothing but flawless!

Used as a dipping glaze but as a thinner mix than the instructions to avoid running and fired to 1220C. I was pleased with the overall effect and colours.

I am quite disappointed with the results, just a dark brown. I fired to 1223degrees, and used a buff stoneware body. My guess is that the iron content in the body influenced the glaze result, so I will try a different body/ white slip under the glaze. So far I'm not impressed.
