Lovely glaze when you get it right, needs to be on thick to get the lovely green and impossible to get it an even colour, but the unpredictable nature of it adds to its charm. Runs if too thick so be aware :)

Fired to cone 6/7 on white stoneware I got results shown in picture. I’ve used it a few times and am generally very happy. You need it thick to get the green, glossy, crackle which is beautiful. Thinner gets the browns. It will run if on super thick and also goes darker, one drip I got was almost blue. I think to get the vibrant green it’s probably best on white or lighter clays as it is glassy and pretty transparent. It is lovely and I would recommend. Hope that helps!

I agree this glaze is either rich glossy green or matt grey brown depending on how thickly you apply it. But you need to be a whizz at glazing if you expect an even finish. I’ve accepted the patchiness and like the unpredictable raku / reduction effects using an electric kiln but it’s an expensive glaze to gamble with.
