Terracolor 656 Margarite Powdered Stoneware Glaze From  £10.70

This is one of my favourite glazes. It looks great on different clays and creates great runs and varying colours when dipped with other coloured glazes. I'm so sad that you won't be selling it any longer.

Very pretty finish, used inside a vase with crystal glaze on the putside. Some of that colour fell onto this and made charming paler crystals on the inside.

I use this where I may have used a white. Instead it gives an interesting dappled finish which works beautifully alongside greens and turquoise. The dappled effect seams to disapear in places and is a warm glossy white. Protect kiln shelves as it can run.

This glaze is stunning, with lovely marbled, dapples, however, beware it runs like mad. We used this on a student's sculpture..... I am still working on cutting it off the kiln shelf. In future I will fire on a sacrificial saucer with the work on stilts!
