I'm so excited about this color. It was a bit deeper and redder than expected, but I loved it, it left a really professional finish, It had enthused me enough to test out other terracolor glazed.

Stunning autumnal orange glaze. Runs when thick and is patchy and murky when too thin but get it right and it is beautiful! Order direct from scarva though as others make it too thin. Please bring back the brush on though!!

I’ve had lovely results so far at cone 6 and cone 7. It did come out a little more red than orange but there is orange in there. I did put it on quite thick and it was a little runny but not too bad. If you’re dipping it actually stays in suspension quite well compared to others like Dark Solar Red which is beautiful but needs stirring every two seconds and does dry as soon as it touches the pot.

You do need to give two coats for the orange to show, but it did run, so use some wax resist around the bottom should help.

Really cool colour - doesn't break very well. Looks great in the middle of a bowl. Pretty much as pictured.

A vibrant Orange going to red depending on thickness.
Wonderful variation as per the illustration here.
a bit runny so leave a large foot area for the run-off.
One of my Mugs stuck to the plate I used to protect the shelf and needed a bit of grinding to separate.

Love this glaze but you need to make it quite thick and it drys to fine powder very quickly so impossible to touch it when dry so sadly I haven’t mastered it yet but will persevere as I just love the depth of this orange.

I love this glaze, I fire it at slightly lower temp of 1220 as 1240 I found that it runs. Depends on results u want tho. Produces a deep red on interior the longer the application of glaze. Beautiful cellular effect.

Fired at 1200, Great colour on flat platters and coasters etc but ran on mugs and vases. I use it as a top colour to run down into lighter more stable colours. Also, if you fire twice at 1200 with second application you get a raspberry jewelled effect on flatter objects, great for Valentine hearts etc.

Product was very runny, and some pieces stuck fast to kiln shelf and were blistered badly. Fired to 1260c and held for 10 minutes. Bisque was fired to 1000c.

I have really struggled to get a consistent result with this glaze. I haven't given up yet and am trialing and working with cones but it can disappear when brushed on the outside of mugs in a band and will bubble if over fired. When it works it is gorgeous.

I really struggled with this glaze, it ran off the pots onto my shelf. I tried using a transparent under first then another orange glaze but it still ran off and dripped all the way to the shelf - and this was applying it a third of the way up! even tho it looks amazing I will never use this again unless on a plate
