Terracolor 686A Aventurine Red From £18.92

This produced a satin brown glaze with a normal firing schedule.
However, with a slow ramp to top temp and a slow cool ramp rate, the lovely brick red came through.
It needs a thick coat too- too thin and you're back to brown.
